Red Berry Press publishes fine Canadian writing without restraint to a single genre. Our primary publication at this time is the bi-annual Red Berry Review, a compilation of work reflecting the life, landscape and writers of the Mountain West. The volume will be available in BC bookstores, directly from either Red Berry Press or the Fernie Writers' Conference.
The publications of Red Berry Press fall in two broad categories. Long-run off-set press publications and short-run chapbook letterpress publications. Both will maintain a high level of design and use a similar quality of stock in publication. The appearance and feel will be the same. Only the method will differ.
Editorial content will derive exclusively from Canadian writers save for the Red Berry Review which includes writing from authors throughout the Mountain West.
The intent of the editorial and the design of the publications will be to offer books and journals that “feel” good in heft and word. Even off-set volumes will strive to maintain the heft and feel of a letter press work. A striving for substance in both the word and the finished work.
